Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all event-hire services supplied by HappyVent to customers for events held in Kalgoorlie–Boulder, the Goldfields and surrounding areas. By requesting a quotation, placing a booking, paying a deposit, signing a hire document or accepting delivery of equipment, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Definitions
In these Terms & Conditions:
"HappyVent", "we", "us" and "our" mean the supplier named in clause 1.
"Customer", "you" and "your" mean the person, company or organisation making the booking.
"Event" means the function, party or occasion for which the services are booked.
"Venue" means the property or location where the event and equipment hire will take place.
"Equipment" means all photo booths, backdrops, props, printers, cameras, karaoke systems, microphones, speakers, AV and sound equipment, lighting, lasers, smoke, fog and bubble machines, inflatable nightclub structures, cables and accessories supplied by HappyVent.
"Staffed service" means a booking where HappyVent staff remain onsite to operate or supervise the equipment.
"Drop-off hire" or "dry hire" means equipment that is delivered or collected and operated by the customer without HappyVent staff remaining onsite.
"Hire period" means the agreed period during which the customer is entitled to use the equipment and services.
"Quotation" means the written quote issued by HappyVent describing the proposed services, inclusions and pricing.
"Booking deposit" means the initial payment required to confirm and secure the booking.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting a quotation, submitting a booking request, paying the booking deposit, signing a hire document or accepting delivery of equipment, you confirm that you:
• have read and understood these Terms & Conditions;
• agree to be bound by them; and
• are at least 18 years old and authorised to make arrangements for the event and venue.
If you are booking on behalf of a business, club, school or other organisation, you warrant that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms & Conditions.
4. Quotations and Availability
Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation and remain subject to availability at the time you confirm the booking.
Equipment, staff and event dates are not reserved until the required booking deposit has been received in cleared funds and HappyVent has issued written confirmation.
Package inclusions are based on the written quotation or invoice. Photographs, descriptions and example setups shown on the website or social media are illustrative only. Where necessary, HappyVent may supply reasonable equivalent equipment or props, provided this does not materially reduce the agreed service.
